FSC has proven experience in secure facilities design. Project scope includes adult and youth correctional centre facility work in each northern territory, a wide range of RCMP operations at both the community and regional level and facilities for explosives detection systems in airports. FSC has accommodated EDS at each of the three territorial gateway airports to secure North American airspace.
We are knowledgeable about threat risk, attack resistance and self-harm prevention. We have worked with direct and indirect supervision models. Our multidisciplinary team has designed and commissioned comprehensive BSCS. We appreciate that those who protect assert a positive and dependable public image. Equally, we understand the significance of the healing environment in the detention context. Through sensitive design and an appreciation of the numerous challenges confronting all facility users, a reduction in the rate of recidivism is possible.
